Lip Tint Masque!

Ohhh lovely blog. How I’ve missed you! I’ve been busy and sleeping. Literally sleeping every free time I have. Its insane how much sleep I’ve gotten for doing absolutely nothing.

Well except for the week that I spent in Los Angeles~ bigsmile It literally was amazing and I ate everything! It’s just been a kicker to go back on diet mode. :'( I just want to eat moreee. But too bad. However I think I didn’t bring the right products with me because I noticed that I broke out so bad during that week. But this week since I’ve been back in NYC my face has gotten soo much better. Either it was the diet or the weather. IDK but I need some serious self-discipline!

But back to the main topic, today we are talking about this My Lip Tint Pack by Berrisom in Sexy Red. I was with a friend browsing this store called Everyday Beauty in Flushing, NY, when this caught my friend’s eye. I didn’t know anything about it until she told me how it’s suppose to be like a lip tint but better. And proceeded to show me a video that includes the following snippet.

Life Update & IECSC Haul

Hello!!!

It’s been ages, I know. I’m sorry! As always, my life has been super busy lately despite me getting nothing of substance done – I went back to school on weekends while still working full-time during the week, so pretty much everything fun in my life has been put on the back burner ): So I haven’t really had much to blog about, and though I do have tons of drafts sitting in my Evernote (I like to type them up during my commute, it gives me strength haha), since my job involves staring at the computer for seven and a half hours a day, it’s hard to find the motivation to open Photoshop when I’m at home. But I definitely miss posting, and am trying to carve out some time to work on this blog some more! I just don’t want to post once and then disappear for three years x: so I’d rather be inactive for a while and get myself together.

So last year I decided to become a licensed esthetician – skin care/makeup of course are major interests in my life to the point that I don’t really talk about anything else hahaha. Classes started in January, and since I’m only going part-time, I’m in class all day on weekends and won’t be graduating/ready to take the licensing exam until November .——–. But I love it so far! My teacher is amazing and the class is small enough that everyone gets a little individual attention, and my classmates are all super chill. It sucks dealing with weekend public transportation schedules (the subway line I take is notorious for breaking down and being slow and not even announcing it) and waking up at 6am all the time, but it’s worth it.

And a huge perk of being “in” the beauty industry is access to trade shows, like the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, and Spa Conference that took place last week! Being able to see all the latest products and machines in action, especially as a student, made me really excited about the future. Oh and then I bought stuff :B

Testerkorea Haul/Review

I discovered Testerkorea when I found out about Etude House’s Princess Makeup Table, and decided I needed it. (like, really. My stuff at my boyfriend’s place was kind of spread all over the top of the dresser and it was really annoying him)

I did a quick bit of research on the site, and it didn’t seem like a scam tongue So I bought the table (which seems to have since sold out :(), as well as a few other things because I deserve it okay.

First, mah stuffs:

PTR Lashes to Die For: The Liner Review

I have another eyeliner review! Now this one is an interesting one because I had heard a lot about this particular liner from one of my coworkers from Ricky’s. She was telling me how much she loved it that she bought a second one. After that conversation I could feel my need for this liner grow.

It wasn’t until I was about to leave that my store had received stock of this liner and I was excited. But not too excited because it did come at a hefty price $28, and you can also purchase it from Sephora. And now onto the review!

Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own $$$ and this review is all my own opinion.

Jurlique Lavender Silk Finishing Powder Review

Now that the weather is melting us down into human sludge so warm, my face produces all the oils neutral I am forever on the lookout for a sunscreen that doesn’t basically liquefy my face, but in the meantime a good oil-control product is always welcome. You might remember the review I did last year on the Maybelline foundation (god those photos sucked i am sorry) that worked really well for me; I loved it until I dropped my bag, with the compact inside, ON A CARPETED FLOOR and half of it just crumbled to dust and misery and now I refuse to bring it outside.

Missha Waterproof Eyeliner Review

Ohh kay now it’s been a while since my last eyeliner review, Woe is Eyeliners. But now it’s time for another eyeliner review! This time it’s the Missha Super-Extreme Waterproof Eyeliner in black! This one retails for about $10 but I got it for $5 during the half off event last year. However Missha is selling it for $7 right now! So if you want to get it here. It’s lasted quite a while! But to be frank for a few months I haven’t exactly been wearing makeup in order to give my face some time to just relax back down and just less pimpley. This post has been a long time a-coming. However my first idea didn’t exactly pan out how I wanted so…. before I delay it for any longer here’s the review~~

Jewerich Eyelash Keeper (Lash Adhesive) Review

I’ve been using Duo’s lash adhesive pretty much since I started wearing falsies, but was never 100% happy with it. The amount of time it takes to get tacky is just annoying, not to mention the fact that it smells like dead fish (please tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this!). I finally used up my tube a while ago, and have been relying on the little packs of adhesive that come packaged with lashes. All of them suck and I don’t know why lash companies bother including them. The other day I was walking to the subway and a drop of water fell on my eyelid. My lashes fell right off! Good thing I was on my way home after work. @_____@

I’ve been interested in the adhesives that have brush applicators, but until recently, Western brands haven’t really made any. So the last time I bought some clothes from Runway Channel, I decided to pick up the Jewerich Eyelash Keeper as well, because it is pink for no reason at all >______>
