I have another eyeliner review! Now this one is an interesting one because I had heard a lot about this particular liner from one of my coworkers from Ricky’s. She was telling me how much she loved it that she bought a second one. After that conversation I could feel my need for this liner grow.
It wasn’t until I was about to leave that my store had received stock of this liner and I was excited. But not too excited because it did come at a hefty price $28, and you can also purchase it from Sephora. And now onto the review!
Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own $$$ and this review is all my own opinion.
Now let me also say that this liner promises that it will help “increase the appearance of lashes.” Now personally I usually think that these claims are baloney and I cannot say anything on how well this liner works in terms of “increasing the appearance of your lashes” because my usage of this isn’t exactly consistent so you may need to look for other reviews if that is exactly what you’re looking for.
My main point is that this really isn’t the best eyeliner I’ve ever used. It literally hurts me to put it on my eyelids and I use it sparingly because pain is not my friend. And it is good that it does not promise to be a waterproof eyeliner. Instead PTR promises you that this is a “quick dry, stay-put liner” that is also “long wearing and smudge proof.”
No. Just no. When I wore this out for a long day, I noticed skin where there should be liner. There is also some smudge-ing that happens, but I forgive them for this because my eyelids are not known for being oil-free.
Bottom line: There is nothing about this eyeliner that I like. Personally it just doesn’t work for me. It doesn’t get black enough for me, hurts to apply it, and etc etc. Don’t get it. Spend your money on any other eyeliner but this one because you can honestly do better than this particular eyeliner.
